A Fabulous Pair of Victorian Silver Corinthian Column Candlesticks.

Description

A fabulous pair of silver candlesticks dating from the Victorian period. These lovely examples are of half height Corinthian column design, with acanthus leaf motifs in the Art Nouveau style. To the bases are charming engraved initials. The sconces are fully hallmarked and removable. Silver candlesticks are always in demand and these wonderful examples are as practical as they are decorative.

Condition :- Very good with no splits or serious dents. One bases has a couple of pin holes to the edge of the beading and is commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Matching set to the sconces.
