A Fine & Rare Mahogany Regency Period "Sentry" Box Combination Wardrobe in the Manner of Thomas Hope

Description

A Fine & Rare mahogany Regency Period "sentry" box combination wardrobe in the manner of Thomas Hope. Each end with a beautifully carved swan neck pediment above Gothic arched panelled doors with finely carved applied roundels. The left side opens to reveal a storage compartment and three adjustable sliding shelves. The right hand side having a brass hanging rail. The central section having a shaped pediment and carved anthemions above an arrangement of two short and five long rectangular mahogany drawers, retaining their original turned drawer pulls. Supported on a rectangular solid mahogany plinth with four finely carved lions paw feet. English circa 1820

Dimensions: 79" high x 105" wide x 25" deep

Condition: This wardrobe is in stunning condition, cleaned and waxed. Splits into 6 sections for easy transportation.
