An Antique Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch

An antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality hand-winding movement, grade 620, which has jewelled pallets, a Church 1892 Starwheel regulator and damascening, all extra expense at the time of manufacture. The movement is working nicely and is fully signed, and it has the serial number 22685212 dates it back to 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10 ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, Aaron Dennison was previously heavily involved in the Waltham Watch Company. The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1919 piece. The front cover has a later engraving K 19.6.29

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition, over a signed white enamel dial with blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
