Description

A good quality figured mahogany Edwardian bureau bookcase in excellent condition. The dentil cornice having a flame mahogany cross banded frieze above a pair of 18 paned astragal glazed doors, the interior with 3 adjustable shelves and working lock and key. The bureau fall with further cross banding and opening to a well fitted interior consisting of 8 pigeon holes, 2 drawers, a centre cupboard and the original tan leathered writing surface. The 2 cock beaded drawers with brass swan neck handles and lock and key above a pair of fielded, flame mahogany panelled doors with shelf interior and the whole standing on off set shaped bracket feet.
