Louis Xv Parquetry & Ormolu Side Table C.1890.

Description

Stunning little late 19th.c. French Louis XV style side table c.1890. Beautiful parquetry work panel top within an inlaid and crossbanded rosewood border. Serpentine shaped sides with an ormolu moulding to the edge. Over a shaped apron with a repeat of the parquetry pattern to all four sides. Raised on slim tapering rosewood crossbanded cabriole legs with ormolu mounts to the shoulders and feet. Some areas of minor damage to the top, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
