A Rare Edwardian Embossed Silver Matchbox Case.

Description

A rare Edwardian embossed silver matchbox holder. The top is both engraved and deeply embossed with a scene inspired by the Landseer's Monarch of the Glen and to the underside are four ball feet. The holder contains an period wooden matchbox, with the strikers revealed for convenient use. A wonderful and rather rare collector's piece.
