6 & 2 Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs. Circa 1815

Description

Fine quality set of Scottish regency mahogany dining chairs comprising 6 single and 2 arm chairs having veneered figured mahogany tablet backs with carved cresting and veneered central splat. The reeded uprights running into reeded seat rails into the reeded sabre legs. Lovely reeded scroll arms. All in fine condition with only a couple of minor repairs to the arms of elbow chairs. Drop in seats which have been recently upholstered in green velour. All are strong and firm and ready to use. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 33" high, 19" wide, elbows 22" wide, 21" deep. Height seat 18"
