Silver Antiques Online has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
'Kings' was designed by Henry and John Lias on commission from King George III, hence the name and is steeped in heritage. The pattern dates from around 1820 and was heavily influenced by the décor and ornamentation of the period and is based on the honeysuckle flower and shell and is perhaps one of the most famous patterns in the world. A lovely item of high quality which would make a superb gift or addition to any collection.
