Superb Solid Silver Leaf Shaped Dish - Hukin & Heath

This superb heavy 'Leaf-Shaped' SOLID SILVER DISH has a 'Bark' effect interior and stands on three 'Flower Bud' feet with a raised 'Stem-Shaped' handle. The dish was made by Hukin & Heath in 1894 and was designed in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser, who designed for Hukin & Heath in the late 19th. Century. It has a typical stylised floral leaf, handle and feet design, a reflection of his botanist background together with the typical Japanese influence present in many of his designs.

In excellent condition, it would make a superb gift or add to any collection.
