A stunning 14-piece dessert service by Samuel Alcock c.1850 comprising of two tazza’s and 12 plates, each hand painted and gilded with raised border work and cartouches of flowers around the edge, the centre of each piece is beautifully hand painted with a different species of bird. Each piece is marked on the underside and all 14 are in excellent condition, the plates have a diameter of 12cm and the tazza’s measure 30cm across.
