Silver Dressing Table Tray -1897 - James Deakin & Son

Description

This is a beautiful large ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER DRESSING TABLE TRAY by James Deakin & Son made in 1897. It is oblong in shape and is heavily embossed with leaf scrolls, flowers, birds and stylised north wind decoration. Very appealing raised scrolled rim. In the centre is a plain cartouche which is free of any engravings so it could be personalised. It is made of a good gauge of silver and is of a very good weight, and has clear hallmarks.
