Description

Pair of antique Swedish satin birch bergere armchairs dating from around the 1920's period & in good original condition. They have fine carvings all over the frames, plus claw & ball feet. The frames are double caned under the arms & on the backs. There is no damage to the cane which is all original. All the cushions have been remade & generously filled with new feathers, so these chairs are very comfortable. Like all satin birch the finish on the wood has a lovely silky finish, plus lighter & darker shades.
