Description

Georgian leather wing sofa

Here we have this stunning 2 seat wing sofa.

This sofa would have been made circa 1750.

The back with much shape as well as being very comfortable. The wings are not of the normal straight shape but of wonderful serpentine form.

The back having a doudle camel back and upholstered in fine hand coloured and antiqued hide.

Originally wing chairs and sofas were to shield the owner from the drafts of the home.

The back legs of pointed cariole shape and the front legs having reprofiled claw and ball feet and of cabriole shape.

The seat with 2 loose feather filled cushions
