Superb Arts & Crafts Mahogany & Burr Maple Triple Wardrobe Armoire C1880

Description

This is a superb quality arts & crafts mahogany & burr maple triple wardrobe armoire and dating from around 1870-80. It has a flared cornice top with finely strung maple and ebony with decorative ebony inlay. There is a full length central bevelled mirrored door with fine inlaid stringing and with ornate brass hinges. To either side is a full length panelled door of burr maple with fine inlaid stringing and with original brass handles. Internally to the centre there is an open space to the top above two sliding trays and four graduating drawers all of which are ash lined and with brass handles. To either side there is full hanging space with brass rail and original hooks and a drawer to the base. It stands on a deep plinth base with canted corners.

This wardrobe is of superb quality and condition and separates into six pieces for ease of transporting.

Measures: 83" high X 24" deep X 79" wide X internal depth 18"
