This is a striking example of a solid sterling silver chalice or goblet.
Plain in design, this heavy item bears a clear hallmark for London 1914, with the maker''s mark for Mappin & Webb. It is free from any decoration and inscription. Stamped on the base are the words ''Reproduction Charles 1 1649''. The silver is in excellent condition.
