Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.

This example is beautifully decorated with engine turned decoration above and below the gold banner engraving. Also, most unusual is the bottle being separate to the lid, allowing one to tilt it slightly to the side (instead of upright) as it would naturally sit in a wine cooler. Either side of the bucket, are ring handles.

The push button to the front is used to release the sprung lid, in excellent working condition. The interior is in wonderful condition with the engraved (S incorporated into the anchor and dolphin) makers mark. I believe to be Austrian made, engraved on the underside "importe", clearly imported for the French market in around 1900 / 1910; Edwardian in era.
Excellent condition with a rim diameter measuring 2 1/4" in diameter and standing 3 1/4" tall. A real gem!
