Antique Walnut Bureau Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

Fine quality antique walnut bureau bookcase, dating from around the 1920-30's period & in excellent condition. It has a nice warm colour & plenty of character. It also has many fine features, like the tear drop mouldings under the cornice, a wonderful stepped interior with a tooled leather writing surface, the graduated drawers with original brass handles & locks, plus the shaped ogee bracket feet. The bookshelves are adjustable. This bureau also has quite small proportions.
