Top quality antique Edwardian mahogany settee with a lovely shape & in excellent original condition, with fine inlays of bone & satinwood. This item has just come out of a London residence & doesn't need any work doing. The upholstery, which is a gold damask with matching braiding, is in great condition & I can see it has been done very well. The three inlaid panels are rosewood & the intricate inlays on these panels are stunning. This settee is sturdy & the finish of the wood has a lovely original look, with a good colour & patina. This piece dates to around the 1890-1910 period.
