Antique Swedish Kingwood & Rosewood Marble Top Commode

Description

Great looking antique Swedish marble top commode, in good condition & dating from around the 1880-90's period. The marble top is original, in good condition & blends in perfectly with the colours below. This commode is predominately Kingwood & Rosewood, with some other chequered inlays & floral marquetry on the drawers. It has a serpentine shaped front, plus gilt bronze mounts & escutcheons. You may notice the locks are missing in the drawers. That's because I have taken them into my locksmith to make sure they all work okay. This commode also has a lovely colour to it. I think it was slightly bleached when it was polished, which I believe enhances the overall look.
