Genuine French Birdcage 18 arm Gilded Brass candelabra dating from around c1870 to c1880 dressed full of original large high lead content hand cut crystal drops. Average size of the Crystal is 2.5x1.75 inches with a total of 96.

The frame is solid and has a lovely patina which would fit in nicely in both period and modern homes; it has been sympathetically cleaned and restored without loosing the patina.

The chandelier has 6 twin arms plus 6 single arms with 1 bulb each; providing 18 bulbs in total.

This chandelier has been professionally rewired and restored to the highest standard using only the best components, and ready for immediate installation. The visible wire is 3 core braided woven silk flex cable in a colour that matches the chandelier frame. So if you need to hang the chandelier with a long drop, the cable can be wrapped around the hanging chain neatly and looks aesthetically pleasing.
