Antique Chippendale Style Leather Wing Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very comfortable pair of antique Chippendale style leather wing armchairs, with generous proportions & high backs. These armchairs were upholstered in an old fabric, so I had them re-upholstered in top quality hide & hand coloured. I would say the frames date from around the 1920-30's period. The leather has been individually hand tacked onto the frames & the cushions have completely new feather innards. These chairs have hump backs, well shaped wings & arms & they sit on chamfered mahogany legs with cross stretchers.
