Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
There is a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface. The base pedestals have pull out ledges either side of the centre drawer. There is a double filing drawer on the right & all the drawers have the original wooden handles. One other special feature is the central locking mechanism. When the roll top goes all the way back up, it unlocks all the drawers.
