Solid Silver Four Slice Toast Rack 1901

This fine ANTIQUE VICTORIAN TOAST RACK has four compartments divided by an elliptical style frame supporting a central handle.

The rack, made by William Hutton & Sons in 1901, has with a rectangular shaped body / base that has rounded corners and is supported by four eight-sided semi-circular feet. The toast rack has five delightfully shaped dividers resulting four toast sections and the central divider has a shaped handle on the top.

This lovely toast rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks as described below. This is an exceptionally fine quality, heavy gauge silver toast rack and is in exceptional condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection or would enhance any table setting.
