George III Satinwood Semi Eliptical Fold Over Tea Table

Description

A good George III satinwood semi eliptical fold over tea table; the shaped top with tulip wood cross banding opening to reveal an oval shaped well figured interior also cross banded with tulip wood; raised on a frieze with ebony inlay with central satinwood panel cross banded in tulip wood; standing on four square tapering legs. This elegant semi eliptical form is not be confused with the more common demi lune shape.
