Antique Limit Pocket Watch, Circa 1910s

Description

Antique Limit pocket watch, circa 1910s.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Limit, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the bottom edge of the back but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition with only the odd surface mark from use.

The dial is signed Limit and is in nice condition with original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
