The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a gilded stem-winding movement, grade number 20, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 8,264,490 which dates it back to 1897.

The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case was made by the Crescent Watch Case Company for Waltham and it is beautifully detailed and has a vacant cartouche to the hinged back. There is a little unevenness to the back and a small indentation but overall it is in lovely condition.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The signed white dial is in beautiful condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
