A Superb Quality Victorian Burl Walnut Card Table

Description

The detail on this table is exceptional and is in the manner of Lamb of Manchester. It stand on carved scroll feet with original castors with carved brackets, fluted columns and stretcher, all with ebonized detailing. The top is of butterfly matched, burl walnut with ebionzed moldings and swivels open to reveal a charcoal baize, card playing surface. In very good condition. 760mm high, 910mm wide and 460mm deep. Circa 1880
