"Trinkender Frauenakt" Bronze by Victor Seifert

Description

VICTOR SEIFERT: A charming Art Deco period gilt BRONZE FIGURE of a naked young woman drinking from a bowl held in both hands.

Beautifully modelled and finely cast, this charming figure retains all of its original gilding. It is signed "V. Seifert Fec" (fecit) in the bronze manque which is supported on its original marble base. 14ins (35cms) high overall.

** Victor Heinrich SEIFERT, German, (1870-1953), a prolific and highly regarded sculptor; many of his works were exhibited at the Paris Salons. He called this particular work: "Trinkender Frauenakt".
