Pair of Heavy Arts and Crafts Candlesticks

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa early 20thC, this pair of very heavy and beautifully made candlesticks are probably from the late Aesthetic Period - leading up to early Arts and Crafts in design. They weigh 1.5kgs each!

They are based on a hexagon shape, with the six sided candle cup, column and base. There are little bun feet at the edge of each corner of the base.

We photographed the underside of the candle cups so the detail of the step design can be seen clearly.

The candlesticks measure 22cm in height and the base is approximately 13.5cm at the widest point. They would take a slightly thicker than average candle.

Postage and packing within the UK mainland only has been included in the price, and for outside areas or abroad, please contact us for a delivery quote.
