A Fine Victorian Silver Pepper Grinder.

Description

A charming silver pepper grinder from the Victorian era. This attractive piece has a fully hallmarked baluster shaped body and top. The top unscrews to facilitate re-filling with peppercorns. A good example, both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or dents. The mechanism works very well.

Hallmarks :- Fully marked, with matching part marks on all silver. Some loss to makers mark on the body and top of lid (but not to the underside).

Date :- London 1901.

Maker :- Joseph Braham.

Height :- 7.5 cms. (to top of knop).

Base diameter :- 4 cms.
