A Gorgeous Chester Silver Purse.

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely hallmarked silver purse with a kid leather interior, divided into three compartments. This lovely purse had a hinged mechanism with belcher chain and finger ring. This elegant piece would have been probably used for evenings and cocktail parties and would make a lovely gift idea.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or cracks. There a couple of pin prick marks to the sides commensurate with age and use. The lining is without damage.

Hallmarks :- Soft but readable, loss to the Maker's mark. The finger ring is part marked.

Date :- Chester 1915.

Width :- 10.5 cms.

Height :- 6 cms.
