The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with the Dimier stamp, which is working nicely.
The watch itself measures 23mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Glasgow (import mark), 1928 with an importer’s mark (or sponsor’s mark) for James Weir of Argyle Street and Buchanan Street, Glasgow.
The case is in lovely condition.

The lens has yellowed with age but it gives the watch a charming appearance.
The dial has a good Art Deco look with stylised numbers, shaped hands and a tonneau shaped subsidiary seconds dial.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
