An Antique 1908 Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique 1908 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American Waltham USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 17223532 which dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The enamel dial has a faint traces of the original retailers name but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands and a later blued steel sub second hand although antique.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
