Description

Fine quality large antique Victorian mahogany pedestal desk, with a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface. The back, sides (inside & outside) are all panelled. The front corners are grooved & the pedestals sit on plinth bases. The drawers are all graduated & have fine dovetails. They have the original locks by 'Hobbs' & the original brass handles. This desk dates from the late 19th century around the 1880-90's & it's in excellent condition, having just been polished. It also comes apart into three sections for easier transportation.
