Description

Extraordinary late 19th.c. oak hall stand c.1890. Standing 92? tall with 9 carved double hooks for hats and coats arranged around an arched top mirror, over a pierced and serpentine fronted holder for sticks and umbrellas with removable drip tray. Shaped top with crisp carved detail, shaped sides with fluted uprights, two scratch carved panels, deep moulded base and turned feet. Minor tarnish to the mirror, otherwise excellent condition, original through, left dry and unwaxed.
