1880-1900 a Large Hall Lantern Once Lit by Candles

Description

Originally lit by candles, this hexagonal shaped iron lantern was converted to electricity some time ago. It dates from 1890- 1900's and still has the original glass panels. The previous owner arranged for it to be completely rewired by a qualified electrician.

The lantern measures 60cm from the top to the base and about 47cm at the widest part, and the original ceiling fitting and 108cm of chain is included.

The glass panels are complete with an arch shape at the top and a floral design in the middle.
