Fine Regency Mahogany Partners Writing Table

A fine quality early 19th Century mahogany six drawer partners writing table / desk. This quality late Regency mahogany table dating to circa 1825 has a rectangular top with a faded black inset leather being gilt tooled enclosed by a mahogany banding and moulded edge.

The top sits over six mahogany drawers with moulded edges and brass ring handles, three to the front and being mirrored to the rear with dummy effect drawers to each end.

Raised on an elaborately carved stretcher base terminating on scrolled acanthus leaf and lions paw feet with recessed brass castors.

Being mirrored to the back this partners desk can be used within the center of a room.

In excellent condition having been restored using traditional methods this stunning writing table / desk will be the central feature of any study.
