A very pretty inlaid mahogany occasional, or center, table from teh late Victorian period. Of fine construction in a good grade of solid mahogany timber. The table is decorated with profuse inlaid detailing in satinwood throughout. The shaped top is stunning; with a central musical scene with radiating harebells and a floral and geometric banding to the edge. The elegant cabriole legs are decorated with inlaid harebells to the knees and are joined by scrolling under-stretchers uniting in a central under-tier. All standing on original brass castors. we have had the table top sympathetically repolished to a very high standard, it now has a great colour and patina. This table is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
