An Antique 1912 Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique 1912 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American Waltham USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 18477046 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The enamel dial has a faint surface scratch to the sub second dial but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
