The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is signed with the Elgin name and it has the serial number 23588417 which dates it back to 1921 when it was included in a run quantity of 1000.

The watch measures 58.7mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop so it is a larger than the standard 50mm pocket watches. The case was made by the Keystone watch case company and is made of Silveriod. It is a good solid case with a screw-on bezel and case back. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The plastic lens is in nice condition.
The dial is enamel and it is signed Elgin and a has a couple of faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
