The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and it has the serial number 11859050 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use. The case back is engraved with monogrammed initials

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside is a plastic lens which is in nice condition.
The dial is signed with the original retailers name G.Kuss & Sons, 9 New Bridge Street, Newcastle-On-Tyne, Special Waltham. The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks to the outer edge between 10 & 12 o'clock although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
