The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Imshi, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.
The watch has an enamel dial, It is signed with the word Imshi which was military slang for ’go away’. Imshi was also the name given to a car in two 1920s publication called The Adventures of Imshi, a two seater car driven by the author around various countries.
The dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original gold hands (the sub second hand might be later although antique).
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
