Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Fold Over Tea Table C1800

Description

Superb antique regency inlaid mahogany fold over tea table and dating form around 1800. Constructed form solid mahogany with satinwood stringing to all edges it has a moulded edge to the crossbanded and strung top with deep mahogany frieze and with central inlaid panel to the front. It stands on squared tapering legs edged with satinwood stringing on a spade foot. It folds by means of a double gate leg action.

It is in lovely condition although there is a very slight small grain split to the top but this does not detract overall and it is a lovely colour with good patination.

It measures: 29" high X 18" deep (closed) X 36" (open) X 36" wide
