Superb Antique Arts & Crafts Pugin Solid Oak Wardrobe Armoire Hall Cupboard C1890

Description

This is a superb antique solid oak arts & crafts wardrobe ( hall cupboard)dating from around 1890 and of pugin design. It has a slim moulded edge to the top above two full length doors and each door having six solid carved linen fold panels. There are two slim carved gothic drawers to the base with pewter handles and both of which are oak lined. It stands on square block feet. Internally there is a shelf with brass rail and hooks.

The whole wardrobe is hand & peg joined and with good mellow colour and patination to the oak.

It measures:

83" high X 19" deep X internal depth 17" X 52" wide
