Art Deco Silver Plated Tea Set on Tray - Porwel Patent C.1930

Description

A stunning Art Deco tea set sitting on it's original serving tray. Made from silver plate on copper, the set consists of a teapot, sugar and creamer. The teapot is rather lovely with a carved Ebony finial and a carved Ebony handle which slides out of it's braket, beautifully made.

The underside is marked with the Patent number and the makers marks for the well renowned silversmith, John Round & Sons.

Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. Overall the size measures 12" x 7 3/4" x 5" tall to top of teapot finial. c.1930.
