Antique Silver Pocket Watch, Dimier Freres, 1915

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique silver pocket watch from Dimier Freres & Cie.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement with 15 jewels, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1915 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just a couple of indentations to the back of the watch.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in good condition with the bold shorter Roamer numbers which were popular going into the 1920s. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
