Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very comfortable pair of antique Swedish upholstered armchairs with Satin Birch frames, claw & ball feet & some fine carving below the seats. The Satin Birch wood is nicely figured, with that typical silky two tone finish. These armchairs have just come over from Sweden & have been polished, plus re-upholstered with new feather cushions. They are extra comfortable because of the slightly curved backs. I would date them to around the 1910 period.
