The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is working nicely and is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 54mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold filled case is the “Russell” model and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. It is beautifully detailed around the sides and is in good condition with just a little rubbing in places.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens over a white enamel dial which is signed… it is unusual to see the Tempus Fugit logo picked out in gold, usually it is black, so this is a rather special piece. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is a faint hairline crack to the dial.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
