Description

This antique Regency Pembroke dining table is in wonderful original condition & of top quality. The top is solid Cuban mahogany, with a fabulous grain & unlike many of these Pembroke table, there are no splits or warps. This is a very heavy well made piece of furniture. It has two drop flaps & a long drawer in the middle. The top section sits on a strong turned column, that in turn sits on a shaped platform base with sabre legs & original brass feet & casters. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the finer details. For instance, looks at the detail on the brass foot. This table is also a very good size when opened & because of the central legs, there is more room than normal for seating, as there are no legs in the corners to get in the way. The inside of the drawer is lined with something which we forgot to take off. I will take that off before this piece is delivered.
