A Good Victorian Mahogany 12 Drawer Collectors Cabinet, Circa 1880

Description

A good and highly versatile 12 drawer victorian mahogany collectors cabinet in excellent condition.

This cabinet has 12 drawers with hidden bearer runners and glazed close fitting frames to the top of each drawer. The cabinet will admirably lend itself to a multitude of collecting purposes. The drawers have an internal base lining of virgin cork which has been re-papered with white, acid free, top quality cartridge paper and are ready for use.

The door has the original lock and key and shoot bolts to the top and bottom of the laft hand door. Ring handles to every drawer. The cabinet stands on turned bun feet.

I commend this cabinet as a super container for any collection of small items or use as a 'family archive' for personal and historic family mementos.
